    I’m trying to get better at asking for help when I need it. I’m a Black queer organizer in between jobs, hustling to try to pay my July rent. Would anyone be able to help support me? I’m so grateful for the love of my community. Thank you all so much.

    I’m upset to see erasure of sex workers as foundation of the Stonewall movement as if removing us sanitizers the campaign to be socially acceptable. No, sex workers fought against police brutality & clients murdering SWs, they fought against poverty. Not just sexuality equality.

    3 things killed 1) we didn’t decriminalize sex work 2) our new laws on bail reform haven’t kicked in 3) we still haven’t ended solitary confinement There is a criminal justice system for those who have. And there is this.

    Ppl like us have been the targets of DA’s for years. We’re Black & brown ppl who’ve be experienced homelessness & incarceration, engaged in sex work & drug use, and been told we must be criminalized & feared. Yesterday that changed. We won! Tiffany Cabán is our next Queens DA!

    My hope is in a future without prosecutors, prosecution, police, and prisons. What can do to help get us there? Decline to prosecute, shrink her budget and staff, advocate to repeal laws that criminalize behavior, do LESS.
