    Replicating our Stroke mobile phone app educational push with all clinicians over the last 2 days at our other GM HASUs and Fairfield. Good feedback noted so far from all using the app 🚑🚑🚑

    Our Coordinator is educating all visiting staff today HASU about the new stroke mobile phone application. This app gives clinicians additional clarity around the pre hospital pathway 🚑🚑🚑

    Still too much unwarranted variation in our stroke services with clinical teams struggling to maintain performance against key performance metrics. So much more to do.

    Agree... Mountains have plateaus, not pts. So the right support will help them move forward. and indeed up! Tell someone "they're done" often enough n loud enough n they will be. Encourage n support" them n be ready to be amazed!

    Even for people who make a partial recovery, this is very common. And so wrong. Stroke survivors have no plateau to recovery, given the right support. They want to do better and giving them a chance is a good investment.

    It’s an honour and privilege to look after people in their time of need... and yes, our NHS is truly amazing.

    Massive thanks to and all at today for incredible care today when my mum needed it most. We are very lucky to have our NHS and such brilliant people working within it.

    Heartfelt thanks to my wonderful colleagues at and for the care you’ve given to my Mum over night. - you and your team are amazing!! Thanks especially to Specialist Nurse Paula for her responsiveness to Mums needs ❤️
