There is no specific therapy just for survivors of tortures. It depends on the person and the symptoms (trauma-related, depression etc.). Regardless of the therapy, efforts should be made that a survivor feels possibly safe and supported.

I was so traumatized, it nearly ended me. I am healthier now than I was before I faced the abuse, but the encountering it was indescribably overwheming.
