Even the foreman of the jury, who used stereotypical, racist language to describe #WesleyRuiz, would now support commutation of Ruiz’s death sentence & 2/1/23 execution date. #StopExecutions Sign the petition: bit.ly/WesleyRuiz

Wesley Ruiz is scheduled to be executed by the state of Texas on 1 February 2023. Wesley Ruiz, John Balentine, and Robert Fratta (who was executed on 10 January) had their lawsuit barred this month, alleging that the state of Texas were using expired chemicals to execute them.

Crosley Green was convicted by an all-white jury and sentenced to death even though 4 jurors voted for life. It was the same 8-4 vote that Gov. DeSantis wants to bring back as the nation's lowest threshold for imposing the death penalty. @ChristieZizo @DPInfoCtr #deathpenalty twitter.com/RDunhamDP/stat…

“Ruiz is deeply remorseful for killing Officer Nix & has worked to better himself during his years on death row. He has maintained a close relationship with his sons, Wes Ruiz, Jr. and Eric Ruiz, & often provides them with guidance about life and relationships.” #SaveWesleyRuiz
