If only this were true. Unfortunately they are motivated. I live in NC-05 (Virginia Foxx’s district) where I’m seeing more Trump/Pence signs Than 2016, some are huge 4x8 sheets of plywood signs they’ve spent their own money to make. It’s quite depressing.

Not everyone without a college degree is automatically dumb. Still, they're probably the easiest to convince due to being either sheltered all their lives or never apply themselves and end up far more gullible for it. Or just a combination of both.

I interact with a good # on a local politics page. College teaches critical thinking skills & communication skills. The vast majority have neither. It shows badly in any attempt to discuss issues. It’s pretty much Trump good, guns good, DemocRATS communist. Etc etc etc

I’m wondering if college was free and more folks attended, how much we could accomplish. And then I remember the GOP Senate. They’ve all got college degrees, all but one senator is white.

The GOP has spent years ensuring education isn’t funded on all levels and higher education out of reach. They don’t value education because they know an uneducated public is the easiest to manipulate. They demonize university as liberal indoctrination.
