    New preprint from me, Derek Ellis (), Gene Brewer (), Margarida Pitaes, and Paul Karoly, "Acute pain impairs sustained attention." We put people in pain using a pressure algometer and made them do the PVT for ~20 minutes

    Yes, it’s scary to post your code and data online. But what we should all really be scared about is publishing a paper—making it a permanent part of the scientific literature!!!—if the findings are bogus because of a bug in the analysis code.

    This seems like a great resource for people who are interested in analyzing ERP/ERMF latencies. In our experience, 50% area latency is very stable (and much better than peak latency).
