    There is no Interchain governance. The Cosmos Hub can choose to not interact with the Tron chain, but IBC is a permissionless protocol that any chain can use.

    Be the weather fair or stormy, the IBC ship will batten down the hatches, secure the boom, and chart a course for a world of inter-blockchain communication - one whose success or failure will be determined by many individuals & companies collaborating of their own free choice.

    The Tendermint and Cosmos engineering teams have been admirably level-headed during a period of turmoil. I am continuously inspired by this team’s commitment to the project and everyone’s ability to keep shipping during wildly distracting times.

    Getting very interesting responses to this tweet. Given the current state of security, yes, it's wise to not use other people's code. BUT THIS IS NOT NORMAL. IT IS UNCIVILIZED.

    You could let anyone in the world write a program for your light bulb, and it'd be safe. Incredible demo by showing how you can easily limit the authority granted to code running on embedded devices. (Also you can build this light bulb demo at home yourself!)

    Not only is Ralph brilliant across multiple fields, he’s really personable and nice. Well-deserved recognition!

    Ralph Merkle (yes, that merkle) accepting the 2020 prize for Real World Cryptography, describing the several years it took to get his work on early public key crypto published because senior review committees said it “didn’t match current thinking.” 🤯 Keep going!

    Peter was persuasive about why in lightbulbs (and of course other devices) is not just inevitable but great. And then he showed off safely confinging 3rd-party code in a programmable lightbulb. And he warned about lightbulb puns. Truly illuminating!
