Just a quick note to save the twitter trolls some time: It isn't some big gotcha that I believe market rate housing--unaffordable to 94% of workers in SF per report--should not be government's top priority. Market delivers pretty well for the wealthy, but not for workers

There is a huge difference between not prioritizing it and actively hindering it. That said, it's worth pondering some more why market rate housing is affordable to a wider range of incomes in other parts of the country
