thefts as you know. they've presented the data comparing thefts at their stores in SF vs other area, and they are closing a much higher % of stores directly in SF.
Whatever the reason given surely you would be better off looking at the theft issue which is either partly or wholly responsible? If you don’t do that then you are partly enabling & excusing the thieves. It’s been an ongoing problem for years so have you addressed this before?

I mean they have thousands of stores, so given plan to cut a tiny fraction of them, they have to rank! It’s a shame for your district but also a shame that as a resident I got pepper sprayed in that very store. By the shoplifter!
