I just went to get my son’s Epi-pen prescription refilled and was told they’re out of stock due to a “national shortage.” ...is this actually a thing???

I haven’t had the meds for my narcolepsy for 8 years now, because the GENERIC averages $900 per month. It’s not really a problem, unless I want to drive. Or cook. Or bathe. Or work. Or adult.

No wondering! This is making more sense. My doctor prescribed me an antibiotic and it was out of stock. DR prescribed a different brand. My husband’s medication has been out of stock for more than 30 days. He’s about to run out & Walgreens is saying they have any til 01/21.

I’ll you this: my ex-spouse is a gastroenterologist, and when I just ran this theory by him, he was very quick to nod and say “yep, absolutely” with an exasperated tone.
