and giving families a fraction of what would have been spent on their children in government schools does not "increase taxes." it saves taxpayer money.

My neighborhood has an excellent k12 charter school, but students are not leaving the regular school in droves. Why? Because both schools are excellent!

It's simple if you think analogically. I have a choice to go to several different grocery stores within 5 miles of my house. That undermines the closest grocery store to my house, so it probably should not be allowed.
