Correct. Totally gross for private individuals to try "go after" an elected reformer trying to dismantle a racist and inherently corrupt system of futile and statistically dangerous mass incarceration. What's the motivation here?

Also, wasn't murder. It was a car crash. The Minority Report-approach to criminal justice while perhaps desirable to those petrified of "bad guys" is a slippery slope. Imagine how much better world would be if some tech titans were imprisoned before they unleashed their havoc.
