Before I left work today I finished some work that all but closes the loop on removing a x13 multiplier of work we had to do per locale, and a x3 multiplier we had to do organizationally. Genuinely excited for Monday when I get to wrap it up and measure how sleek it all is.
Still a x2 in there that I got shot down on removing. We almost never use it and always pay the cost for it, but whenever we do use it, it tends to be the fastest solution for a problem we usually find out way too late so there is a lot of hesitation in removing it.
Key: x13 - Per locale work since prior to this task locales could reference different/new assets. x3 - Physically splitting our package manifests so that we could mix text/speech locales due to variances prior to removal of x13. x2 - Specializing data for a specific region.
