Would like to be surprised, but am not, that the same men ostensibly on the left are still being predatorial to almost every young woman on Twitter. Women talk and share notes about attention that makes them uneasy, don't think you aren't blacklisted.

Also, it's very easy to guess your identity, so stop bombarding us with sexually explicit messages via email and CuriousCat you weirdo, and instead work out why none of the women you DM ever reply.

Most of the men I speak to On Here are perfectly capable of chatting, conversing and even flirting without making women feel uncomfortable. As ever, it's the small minority who bombard you with endless demands to meet up in vulnerable situations & do same to dozens of women.

I'd like to ask these guys a couple of q's 1) When in the history of humankind has this tactic worked? 2) Dawn seems lovely & even has a very stylish beret, but what part of her constant tweeting about politics, cats and Cromwell makes you think she's on here to get some action?

Assuming these people are human beings that run around in media circles that you actually have to interact with in your working life, it's truly horrible. Seriously, what the hell...?

Yes, made very awkward when people think you are just being standoffish and rude, and why I never ask questions when some female journos just avoid certain men, just trust their instincts
