It feels weird to recommend - but Marks&Sparks have a decent thermal section, I got some affordable & pretty snakeskin-look thermal stuff when camping last year

Nah, the Uniqlo ones don’t do the job. Outdoor/camping shops are more expensive but the stuff works.

YES! They are ace. Also m&s but uniqulo are very thin and come in loads of colours and fits, and not expensive

I second M&S for longevity and slightly less sweat. Depends where you'll be wearing them and how many changes of environment/temp you have to deal with in one wear.
