On Haringey, the right of the party are desperately trying to spin a 'Momentum takeover' but it's simply anti-HDV. Cllrs who signed anti-Corbyn letters remain in place, because they oppose the HDV. This is simply what happens when you push through unpopular policies.

No one has any clue what could happen with Lendlease's involvement, lots of people are scared they'll lose their homes, many more just have not been given sufficient information. Pushing this through regardless lost councillors their seats, not Momentum.

Replying to @DawnHFoster
The sense of entitlement behind unsuccessful candidates talking about losing “their seats” is staggering. Labour will most likely retain the seats; party members are simply choosing not to put up candidates who oppose Labour policy.

Given the constant claims Corbyn et al don't care about winning, it stands to reason you'd select candidates who oppose an unpopular policy to win, surely?
