I’m mainly listening to you grossly misrepresenting the facts. Thank goodness for @RichardAngell

You were really good and got across the point about HDV.

To suggest any Labour council, let along Haringey, is not trying to resist austerity is none. For example, Haringey successfully stopped EMA cuts in their borough in 2010. Stop falling for George Osborne’s trap
-
Richard, you're not worth arguing with because you're more invested in smears, but listen to the people of Haringey who don't want to HDV and understand you can only sell off public land and housing once. Also, learn not to interrupt and shout over women. Now I'm muting you.

Both CLPs vote on it, all branches, and both MPs- hardly Corbynites

Definitely don't have to do 50/50 development vehicle with a trade union busting company which has a record for building no social housing. Tenants have not been guaranteed right of return and it's not accountable to anyone when land is handed over (that's not about money)
-
Council still has control in a 50/50 JV. Better off JV'ing with a Labour led council than one that wasn't wouldnt you agree. A party who has record for building social housing. Don't get this point at all. Accountable to council who is JV partner!

And further on the accountability question, the HDV will have three council representatives and three people from Lendlease on the board, not exactly with the equal amount of resources, legal clout and money, how well can that go?
