Not going to #DUP17, but genuinely wondering: Who from the media has paid (or been asked to pay) this £150 fee? And has anyone had it waived?

Seems like a tax for the inevitable increase from GB media. I'd be surprised if the local media who've been going for years will be pushed for it. But then again, accommodating the extra numbers will likely push up costs.

I have been asked to pay £150.00. I have said no. It is coming up to 11pm the night before the conference and to this point my acreditation request has not been approved by the DUP.

Is this not just the late fee for registration after Oct 31st?

Pain in the arse, but I always apply for all of them in case (can't make DUP now because I'm ill) but thank god it's not Labour, who charge £700 for late registration.

It may be the norm in GB, but it's a new development here afaik.

It's a fucking pain, and they usually blame having to speed up police checks, but seems ludicrous for a one day conference.
