Just one of the many reasons that admissions-related business at my university should be centralised and professionalised at university not college level. Grad admissions are and that works far better (not perfectly at all). BUT >>

Right. I know Tabitha. And I now realise that not knowing open days existed was probably the biggest factor in my going to Oxford. Now pondering small but significant improvements to the system via existing committee structures vs the gunpowder plot.
