But there's also a huge growth in less visible problems caused by cuts for the most vulnerable in society. (E.g. parenting support)

I have no problem with reducing the deficit but it's undeniable that the way cuts have been distributed is profoundly unfair.

Yes good example. Basically any local authority service has been cut to the bone. Apart from bins because rich people notice bins.

Absolutely. Though I found a survey somewhere that said dissatisfaction with refuse collection had soared w/ outsourcing (& see Birmingham)
