At a picnic, arguing over whether the film "All Dogs Go To Heaven" is Protestant.

In orthodox Jewish thought, there is no "heaven" to go to. There is an afterlife but it happens on a reformed planet Earth. Silent on dogs.
-
Technically, dogs have "nefesh" which is the animal soul, humans do too. Humans, though, also have "neshama", dogs do not.
