Genuinely hate how (predominantly men) deliberately ignore “Please Offer Me a Seat” badges on buses & the Tube, instantly pretending to fall asleep, they can’t hear you etc., getting a seat 1/10 times asking if I’m v lucky. Not a problem of advertising, just people being pricks.

Same goes for when I (inevitably) fall over in the street. Little old ladies and young people always try to help me - middle aged white men least likely to help. Ugh.

Yep, worst responses my friends have reported when I’ve seized in public has always been middle-aged dog-walkers (“clearly drugs” or finding it funny), best teenage boys who spring into action and are really helpful and properly care.

Yeah, teen boys in groups are often so good. I had sudden jamais vu waves on Fri evening, tried to get home asap but has a seizure in the park. Woke to teens on phone to 999, in recovery position, and as speech returned, they stopped well-meaning passersby trying to manhandle me

…saying “we’ve got it under control, paramedics want to check her over, but please don’t push/pull her without asking: she’s got epilepsy & knows it better than you, and 999 point out she could have a head/neck injury.” Because people treat you like meat trying to help.
