Genuinely hate how (predominantly men) deliberately ignore “Please Offer Me a Seat” badges on buses & the Tube, instantly pretending to fall asleep, they can’t hear you etc., getting a seat 1/10 times asking if I’m v lucky. Not a problem of advertising, just people being pricks.

Also twice had the “well if you were disabled you would have a Freedom Pass, how do I know that badge is yours?” Loads of disabilities don’t qualify for the FP, but guess what fucko.pic.twitter.com/1yZ96O76Cf

Anyway, you can apply for the card here (some friends have had better luck, clearly “look” disabled in their limited minds) https://tfl.gov.uk/transport-accessibility/please-offer-me-a-seat …

Freedom passes less clearcut and will differ borough to borough (my neurologist just offered unbidden to write up and post me a letter during an appointment), but GPs should be able to vouch for you. Failing that £20 on the disabled railcard long after you’re 30, and you can load it on your Oyster to save money https://www.disabledpersons-railcard.co.uk/are-you-eligible/ …pic.twitter.com/zm24xN77oH
