Yeah, I had to go back to understand why on earth Neco was included. The article just seems really embarrassingly desperate to talk about race implicitly but not mentioning the biggest aspect: player choice and their own feelings about their Welshness?!

never underestimate how many english fans are fuming to this day that Giggs chose Wales over England and it ended up coinciding with a long stretch of them having a weakness on the left wing. Common attitude is if you qualify for 2 or 3 nations, you're 'really' from the 'best'
