Remembering when I shared a photo of my forehead stitches stating that I was very self conscious about the fact scar tissue underneath it made it look like a tumour about the size of a small egg, and a verified account I don’t follow simply replied @-ing in ‘Dr Pimple Popper.’

That is excellent. I’m sure the scar tissue could be removed by a good surgeon but you’d probably have to pay. xx

Yes, have considered asking one of my GPs but a) don’t want to bother them during Covid b) worry any surgery would leave another scar c) hate hospital appointments and d) it’s massively gone down and the gel’s completely removed the scarring where the stitches were.

It’s great, isn’t it. Also improved healing time for other smaller wounds I’ve incurred since, and helped massively when I had dozens of staples in the back of my head.

Ooo, I wonder if this might be any good on my skin graft edges, will have to look at that. Thx for sharing Dawn and glad it's working for you!

Definitely worth a shot! I used Boots own brand scar gel before and it didn’t do much, but this has had really noticeable effects my friends have commented on, even though I only began using it more than six months after the stitches came out.
