Spending 10 days confined to bed in hospital getting filmed 24/7 (yay
). What books/reading material would you take to stop yourself going doolally with boredom? Books you’d never get round to otherwise, for eg. Have Kindle, promised myself I’d finish writing my own book etc.
You’re a genius!
I’m trying to hunt down some old headphones I can use since my normal ones will interfere with the sensors on my scalp. And smells is a great call, plus one of my throw blankets is likely to be more comforting since I can’t wear jumpers, only cardigans.

The Alexei Sayle podcast is great. I recently listened to The Bomb, a podcast from the BBC World Service, which was great. Also Tunnel 29, part of the Intrigue series, is superb.

I love
@Tisseranduk roller ball products as you can just put a bit on & then wash off if you get overwhelmed. You can always use old school headphones “upside down” so they hang down rather than on top of your head. Works fine lying down & more comfy. -
Also could you do crafts? Puzzles? Paint by numbers? Crosswords? Stuff to keep you off screens might help.
