Grim, very obvious hostile architecture, removing one seat and using “accessibility” (how does this design remotely benefit wheelchair users?) as a cover to stop rough sleeping https://twitter.com/CloHiggins/status/1391083611860967426 …

I don’t know why this guy is still being such an aggy prick, but anti-homeless architecture is grim, so is not caring about homeless people; many, many wheelchair users are replying to her saying this would not remotely help them; and I’m disabled myself.

Trying to bully people into disclosing their disabilities by claiming their opinions are hateful otherwise is gross, but not having public space to lie down when I have seizures is actively dangerous, and benches without armrests help a very diverse range of people.

Wheelchair users, famously known for having limited seating options, were all clamouring for the ability to sit between two metal arm-rests. We definitely can't sit by the end of the bench - our chair may have wheels but it has limits!

Multiple wheelchair users telling her they have repeatedly asked for more drop kerbs in Galway and been ignored can presumably also get lost
