The Right are very very good at creating narratives that benefit them, and progressives are very very gullible at accepting their narrative as the status quo. The key to winning elections is changing narrative

Changing metaphors. Metaphors are how we depict the world, before narrative comes into it. If you accept your opponent's metaphors, you are accepting their description of the world. Any transformative politics can't accept that.

There was no TORY landslide! Across UK Tories benefited from a discrepancy between votes & seats.Winning a majority 56.2% of seats on a minority 43.6% votes. A 7.4% increase in seats on just a 1.3% increase in votes. 229 of 650 MPs won with less than 50% of constituency votes!
