Awkward scenes on Keir Starmer's LBC's phone in as a fairly posh-sounding woman asks a question about the Millwall/BLM booing, and then starts talking about "the indigenous people of Britain" becoming a minority. Starmer kind of pretends to not hear the far right stuff.

Wouldn’t it be fair to say, Starmer knows the caller/listener demographics of Nick Ferrari’s programme. You can see, he heard what was being said, but did not want to be goaded into a off the cuff reaction. That’s not his character. He is playing the ‘game’ to challenge BJ.

I think it's because of unconscious preconceptions, not based on fact, but arguably based on inbuilt prejudice. When someone with a posh accent starts talking about football and Millwall, I perhaps didn't expect the white supremacy bit. Of course, that's nonsense .. 1/2

... as just Katie Hopkins alone shows. But the weird thing is, I think it slightly caught out both Starmer and Ferrari at least at first. Again, it's not to excuse the fact they didn't challenge her, just to note the importance of instant (if false) assumptions.
