The bloke in Sainsburys not only refused to serve me booze because I don’t carry my passport everywhere, but wouldn’t let me buy food either, lmao

I did used to carry a passport with me for ID, then got my bag nicked twice in five years, so the British government decided I could only have a one year one for full price. Now I carry no ID since no one accepts the expired one in case I suddenly became 17 again.

people keep asking me to pull my mask down when i’m buying fags or booze to “check my age” and as soon as i do they’re like “oh shit yeah sure!”. incredibly rude.
-
They just squint at me for ages then say “driving licence” “not allowed to drive, have epilepsy” “don’t care”

Got refused a bottle of wine, aged 29, at the same Morrisons I bought Frosty Jack's from when I was 15.
