Is that a definite ban or down to personal judgement of the assistant? Would the pharmacist think differently? Another chemists or alternative drug? Take care

Don’t know, never happened before! I just assumed it was the cashier not knowing and not wanting to risk it interacting with my meds?

Interesting. I am fairly serious meds but am still allowed some cocodomol and...they are even in my monthly prescriptions from the Dr.

Yeah, I have a monthly repeat codeine prescription, but took it all when I broke my ribs two weeks ago. And ibuprofen and paracetamol didn’t help my back pain while it kept me awake last night.

I have a monthly repeat codeine and when I pulled my back I phoned my GP basically saying I’d had to use my chronic pain meds for an acute thing and they gave me my repeat early! Apols if you’ve tried this, hope ribs are feeling better x

Oh, will do tomorrow! They know I’ve broken my ribs: my back’s only played up since last night, so couldn’t call them today. There’s also a late opening pharmacist further up the road I’ll try when I finish this coffee.
