Never tell them I have schwannomatosis since not even doctors know what that is bar the consultants in the specialist neurofibromatosis centre in Guy’s even though I was buying it for back pain caused by it. AND I NEVER WILL.

Every doctor in A&E has made me spell it when they ask why I’m on pregabalin, which was great when I’d had a massive seizure and had transient aphasia causing major slurring and no clue where the hell I was.

Not medically relevant but I took four bottles of rum, two wine boxes, 24 beers and three packs of ibuprofen to the checkout at Tesco, had to put one of the ibuprofen back

I once tried to buy hydrogen peroxide solution because my dog ate a fox glove. When the intended use was relieved the cashier wouldn't sell it to me, so I burst into tears, told her she might have killed my dog, and then a woman behind me called me a terrible owner.
