What a good, smart police procedural if I like The Fall, Line of Duty, Cracker, and Criminal UK on Netflix? Watched Marcella but there are way too many flaws.

Enjoy. Always jealous of someone starting something good they’ve not seen before!

Will add a recommendation too - my wife loves police procedurals and was very impressed by it. I only saw some of Season 2 and Season 3 but was well crafted scriptwise & had a lot more emotional depth to it than most stuff out there.

Unforgotten focuses on victims & their families - the grief & pain - not the criminal. More emotionally satisfying. One of my pet hates is the mum/wife/etc told their loved one's bn murdered & yet 2min later capable of talking to police as if their whole worlds not bn destroyed.

Also worth trying Mystery Road, on BBC4 & iplayer. Australia contemporary drama. Integrates issues of police corruption & questions the legitimacy of the racist criminal justice system & hegemonic white culture through a moody, tense thriller set in the most stunning landscape.

Unforgotten is especially good for the quality of supporting acting performances.
