Been really ill for most of lockdown (and exacerbated by it) but nearly getting arrested for being drunk and disorderly when I was actually post-ictal was definitely the most stressful part, and it continues to make me angry how poorly the police understand health.

If a member of the public hadn’t called an ambulance and refused to let the police leave before they arrived, my neighbour wouldn’t have seen me in the street, confirming I had epilepsy and this was often what I was like after seizures.

Can the NHS supply you with a card, my late mum had one as she had heart disease and could have had a heart attack at any time, it had her condition, blood type and family contact/GP Details on it.

Broke the clasp and getting it fixed atm, but a card wouldn’t have helped - I wouldn’t have had it on me, I didn’t have my phone/keys/purse. They weren’t interested in working out why/if I was ill, despite obvious head and jaw/chin injury.
