I mean I dunno, putting aside the individuals, labour clearly does need to spend more time finding out why people who used to vote labour aren't than talking to those who are and will. The politics of that have to benefit 'both' rather than sacrificing one or other of course.

That is a *huge* problem: I know some left wing Southwark councillors, and they’ve had to battle to retain voters because the council turned so many people off the party.
