If it’s been a month since stitches, and I still have a sizeable swelling directly above the wound, is it there for good?

I am. It's just a longer process than I anticipated. Even when I was in the hospital and it was probably the morphine; but I thought I'd have this licked in no time. I've learned, however, I just have to be patient with it. It's good to be alive, though, very good.

I know it’s not the same, but every time I get an epilepsy injury I assume I’ll be fine in two days, but am absolutely mown down by fatigue and still finding bruises weeks later (found a huge one on my chest from my really bad 29th August seizure only this morning)
