Took a terrible, stupid chance, and got an electronic prescription sent to Boots instead of an independent or remotely competent pharmacy because of late opening hours. What’s the worst that could happen? I thought.

Every other pharmacy I know: GP sends electronic prescription, they have it on their system immediately. Boots: have claimed it takes 48 hours and they don’t have it. Also claimed my GP hasn’t sent it. Also claimed they have it, but not the tablets. They doing these randomly...
