My discharge letter says my “Hb has gone from 145 to 90 in five days without anaemia or blood loss.” What does that mean in layman’s pEnglish. Please, for the love of God, no men googling please, I want actual knowledge.

If the second result turns out to be correct, then you are anaemic and the reason behind that should be investigated. Can be due to low iron, B12, Folate, chronic (slow) bleeding or problems with the production of red cells.
-
Can also be caused by various drugs interfering with any of the above.
