What did she write that merits this reaction? Defending the right to disagree? To think the best of people? To think twice before joining the mob? Dawn, in your best work you defend the disabled against mindless discrimination or hate. Why not champion a 'principle of charity'?

Not sure what your point is, by donation to charity, she has a free pass to attavk trans people for no reason? She nakes my trans friends both upset, when they’re already in danger, and encourages violence and more abuse for them

Hasn't the entire affair been manipulated to look like an attack on trans people, when a closer look at the evidence shows she is defending women and girls' sex-based rights - which is a good thing. Her intervention might upset some, but that doesn't make it wrong.

I know her in person, and have been oresent when she’s had conversations with trans friends and become very aggressive and deliberately offensive, so this really isn’t a surprise for me
