left a mop, dustpan and brush, and a broom in my last flat thinking that would be something helpful for a new tenant to have. Letting agent informed me if I don't remove them, I'll be charged lol

We left a kitchen bin, in really good condition, in my last flat and the landlady tried to charge us £50 “to remove it” until I insisted she show a receipt from the council, at which point she had to admit she’d left it for the new tenants who were using it.
