Has anyone ever gone to an optician, got specs back and found the prescription just seems...wrong? I've never had that before but it's like I'm wearing someone else's glasses.

Yeah, I spoke to the optician, they redid my test and changed the lenses for free. The test itself is very hit and miss.

I've had such good experiences before it just never occurred to me that it was possible. I'm CONFUSED AND AFRAID. CAN NO ONE BE TRUSTED? I also always seem to have such nice opticians the idea of saying 'this went wrong' fills me with dread. WHAT IF IT MAKES THEM SAD

Nah, they’re used to it. The whole “which looks blurrier” section is often difficult to say with certainty, so prescriptions can often be slightly off.
