The horror.... of giving kids in poverty meal vouchers during summer holidays. Now obviously loads of people on low incomes will get pregnant, incentivised by vouchers. Clearly a smart government would let already-existing children starve for six weeks.

I never tire of how comfortable Tories are with saying they want policies that harm living, existing, suffering children right now. And the insistence children in poverty were all born into poverty, sudden penury never happens. Children are clear collateral
