Used to get horrific chronic migraines a few years ago, until a year of topirimate got rid of them and seemed to reset my brain, but the 30+ heat brought the worst one in years back, so getting some triptans in case it happens again this summer.

as a chronic migraineur, I completely sympathise. Had a 4 day one in the hot weather - the high pressure must have set it off again.

Sending thanks to the locum GP who allowed me to get a pack of 12 triptans at a time (I'd been restricted to 6 before, which, erm, lasts me one episode...)

Oh grim: I’m the same - waiting for my GP to sign off with my neurologist in case any triptans clash with my epilepsy meds. Think I was on Zomig last time.

My understanding is that migraine is more common with epilepsy, so sure it’s a super common question.
