Agree the briefing is silly and divisive but one of the few things we can be sure about is that safety of kids is not an issue (which is not true of their absence from school)

Because the Starmer project doesn't actually support assertive trade unionism. This doesn't strike me as a strategic press briefing but one based off of contempt for unions actually trying to fight for their members

I keep saying it. The unions need to pull the plug. And yes I know the NEU aren’t affiliated but others are. If they think they are safe from being marginalised and “taken-on” they have learnt nothing
