Thrilled to announce I found my glasses after ordering new ones.

Still haven’t found my laptop but a) I can see now which will make searching easier b) It’s big, so it can’t hide forever and c) I have a keyboard for my ipad so don’t need it desperately

Your optometrist can probably adjust the nose fittings, just so you can have two good choices :)

I always buy 2 for 1 just so I can sit on one pair a few days after buying them
-
I’d do that but because I’m so blind I have to pay an extra £109 per pair to have them thinned enough to fit in the frame. Might try and put £400 instead of £200 away for the next eye test (I buy £20 frames in TK Maxx)

You can probably tighten.the fixings. But it's good to have a spare.

I’ve got screwdrivers! Do I just tighten them, because Specsavers heat the arms and bend them in.

Have the new ones for home and the found ones for going out is always best (I don't know why though, come to think of it).

If you have a small screwdriver, ir can take them to the optometrist at some point, they'll tighten the legs and they'll be good as new re: slippage.
