SICK of eating/preparing food from cupboard scraps amd not being able to go out whatsoever. Just want to eat cereal bars/biscuits/diet coke without attempting to scrabble for those deliveries weeks in advance. Cat does not understand why he can’t eat 24/7 when I am always here.

Sorry to hear that- it sounds shit.

The epidemic doubling time at worst was 2 days. If we assume post-lockdown it can be made as long as 14 days, and that there are currently 100,000 infected people (all v conservative estimates). After 10 weeks we have 3 million.

I've been managing to get a regular home delivery from Iceland foods, they don't have as big a range as Tesco etc, but I've been getting most stuff I need apart from flour.
-
Yeah Iceland and Morrisons for us have been good apart from some poor packing

Have you tried Asda. When I was able to book the first slot they gave me the option of setting up a recurring slot for the same time and day every week

I'm actually going into my 12th week now (locked down before Govt announced it) and have had notification it will be until at least end June. Also district nurses coming in to do weekly blood tests instead of going to GP surgery, advised not to walk dog and even put bins out! /..

I guess with lockdown measures being relaxed it means those of us shielding need to be extra careful. My GP has warned me to prepare for a very long haul, even until next year, or a vaccine, whichever comes 1st! Hang in there, Dawn. I know it's tough!

https://quickshop.coop.co.uk/basket If you have a local co-op they do small deliveries, we got some for a neighbour discharged from hospital the day *after* our main weekly big shop was delivered.

Yes I’d like to know that too. I’m locked up until 30 June

We need to do more to support shielders. There should be some kind of legislation allowing shielders to leave their homes safely. Spain has managed to do this. Keep thinking of people stuck indoors in this heat, it's not right.
