Ironically becoming obsessed with people who’re obsessed with Myers-Briggs. One guy this week had it not in his bio (which is egregious enough), but his Twitter display name. Why? What’s the appeal? Work made us do it one, only plus was they gave each result a Simpson character.

Yeah, mine was the “rarest” so I said “that surely means few people in your workplace will relate to you?” to which they replied “No, it means you’re more likely to be hired because of your rarity.”

It's flattering because it frames one's flaws as a Type which has corresponding benefits. So when people are annoyed at me being late I can imagine actually they're ignoring my strengths of adaptability & creativity! To an extent, I think that's a helpful perspective though.

People *are* different, and it's worth questioning whether having the same strict expectations of everyone is worthwhile to get the best from your team.
