BBC reporting what many of us worried about: people dying of heart attacks and strokes because they’re too worried to attend A&E, with attendances down 40%. Been to A&E twice since lockdown, both times it was the quietest I’ve ever seen.

Happened with my dad. He has asbestosis and gets breathless just walking to the toilet and back, gasping for breath. Hospital gave him a few blasts of oxygen and sent him on his way. Was back again a week later but sorted that time.

My poor mum - 83 and isolating herself has vascular probs in her legs. She’s in agony and struggling to walk but has been told no possibility of scan atm or any treatment . Just keep taking the painkillers. I’m 100 miles from her.
