Used to just feel a weird sense of impending dread and unease before big seizures, but now my brain just very calmly thinks “Ah, you’re going to die now” with no sense of panic, including me announcing it matter of factly to a friend before sitting on the sofa, pre-lockdown.

Hope that if my brain wasn’t just having a weird one and I genuinely thought I was going to die I’d pray rather than hide my glasses. (I’m fine bar pain and horrendous tinnitus).
