Really? All the evidence I’ve seen says smoking worsens your chances with Rona due to lung damage. Is this like American tobacco companies saying they were going to invent a vaccine? Wild country.

The numbers in a lot of countries for some reason show much lower instances of smokers and former smokers infected than the numbers in the general population

This is all basically unsubstantiated and I obviously don't know anything but it seems like the immunosuppressive effect of smoking actually makes it more difficult for the virus to propagate in your cells? There are a few threads about the numbers floating around
